关于我们

Since our founding in 2006, we’ve dedicated ourselves to improving the quality of life for all Central Baltimore residents. At heart, we are a problem solver — the one to turn to for support no matter what you’re going through. Our nonprofit is exceptionally good at leveraging private, philanthropic, and institutional resources to strategically fill in the gaps. Intentional community change occurs here. From start to finish, we deeply listen to the voices and vision of our community partners. We’ve worked with over 150 partners, including nonprofits ranging from small neighborhood associations to large universities and hospitals, businesses of all sizes, and government agencies active in the eleven neighborhoods of Central Baltimore. Central Baltimore is rapidly revitalizing, with hundreds of millions invested in block-level and large-scale redevelopment projects. We make sure these efforts are community-driven by bringing everyone into the circle and forging strong partnerships.

Members of our team were in Annapolis today meeting with Gov. Wes Moore, Geoffrey Canada, and Maryland Legislators in support of the ENOUGH Initiative. The?Engaging?Neighborhoods,?Organizations,?Unions,?Governments and?Households (ENOUGH)?initiative is the first-of-its-kind state-led, place-based strategy to create poverty fighting opportunities driven by communities' lived experience and expertise, data and cross-sector partnerships. ENOUGH will surge resources into neighborhoods that have been disproportionately impacted by systems and policies that limit wealth creation and economic mobility. The?ENOUGH Initiative?envisions a Maryland where: All residents feel?welcomed, valued,?and have a role in the growth of their community. All children have access to?high quality education and care?while ensuring smooth transitions from?birth until working in a career. All families have access to?affordable high-quality health care, including maternal, mental, and behavioral health care. All families can?meet their needs, work with dignity, and build wealth?for the future. All residents of a community feel?safe?and have access to?high-quality, affordable housing, a thriving commercial core, recreational spaces, nutritious food, and transportation. Thank you to Harlem Children's Zone for organizing the event!
