Last week, our Managers and Coordinators took part in an intensive, full-day Active Shooter Response Training led by ProActive Response Group. The training covered critical topics, including: ? Recognizing suspicious activity & packages ? Building a survivor mindset ? Differentiating guests from potential threats ? Best practices if confronted with an active shooter Our President & CEO, Alessandro Zamperla, reminds us daily that safety is paramount—for both our guests and our staff. This training is just one of many proactive measures we take to ensure that LPCI remains a place where fun and safety go hand in hand. We had the incredible pleasure of visiting John Dewey High School in Brooklyn, NY, where we connected with bright, motivated students eager to explore the amusement park industry. ??? A special thank you to Ken Limbach, the Work-Based Learning Coordinator, and the leadership team at John Dewey HS for hosting us and making this experience so memorable. ?? We were also honored to have Alessandro Zamperla, our President & CEO, address the students with an extraordinary story of success. Despite the Zamperla family being leaders in the manufacturing of rides and attractions worldwide for more than five generations, Alessandro chose to learn the business from the ground up. Starting at Luna Park in Coney Island, he began by selling hot dogs, eventually becoming the President and CEO of the largest amusement park in New York City. His journey is a powerful reminder that with hard work and determination, anyone can rise to the top in any industry. ????
