As the year draws to a close, now is the time to review key tax-saving opportunities that could mean keeping more of your hard-earned income. Have you reviewed your retirement contributions for 2024? You still have time to contribute more to your 401(k) or IRA, which can lower your taxable income. Is tax-loss harvesting right for you? If you have investments that haven’t performed well, selling them before the year ends can offset capital gains and reduce your tax bill. You can also carry forward losses to future years if they exceed your gains. Are you using a Flexible Spending Account (FSA)? If so, remember that many FSAs have a “use-it-or-lose-it” policy by year-end, so be sure to spend down those funds on eligible medical expenses before they’re gone. Don’t wait until it’s too late. A few smart decisions today could save you from a hefty tax bill next spring. #TaxSavings #YearEndPlanning #AvoidTaxSurprises #CenturyManagement #ScottVanDenBerg

The end of the year is an ideal time to consider the numerous tax strategies that can help you maximize savings and potentially keep more of what you’ve earned. Reviewing your tax strategies and making any necessary adjustments can help you start 2025 prepared. Small changes now can lead to significant benefits later.
