CNBC reports that many employees will get an unwelcome surprise when they select their health benefits this year: higher health premiums. According to the The New York Times, many employers expect the costs of their employees' health benefits to jump as much as 9% on average in 2025, with some employers planning to shift these costs to employees through higher premiums or increased deductibles.
