A great turnout last night at our Meet & Greet session. Thank you to the Washington Township, Montgomery County, Ohio RecPlex for allowing us to meet at the Joyce Young Center. A special thank you to representatives from Centerville City Schools, Centerville-Washington Park District, Centerville Washington History, REACH Indigenous Advocacy, and the Dayton Jewish Community Relations Council for attending. In addition to sharing information about the CWDC and volunteer opportunities, we also recognized two of our amazing Volunteers. The first was Linsy Rivera. Linsy is a student Volunteer who provided publicity support for our most recent Voices & Stories program. The second honoree is our past Chairperson, Sivaji Subramaniam, who was recognized for his many years of service as our CWDC Chairperson. Thank you both! #cwdiversitycouncil #diversityequityinclusion #diversitymatters
