What an incredible week spent advocating for our Head Start families! It was an honor to meet with inspiring congressional leaders, including the Honorable Congresswoman Maxine Waters and the Honorable Congressman Danny Davis, as well as engage in meaningful conversations with the offices of Senators Tammy Duckworth and Richard Durbin. These leaders have consistently championed the needs of Black families and children. Their unwavering support ensures that early education programs, like Head Start, remain strong, giving our communities the foundation they deserve for a brighter future.
