CenterPointe is proud to partner with the City of Lincoln and LPD for the new co-responder program. By embedding behavioral health professionals within law enforcement response teams, we aim to de-escalate situations and connect individuals with the services they need.

The Lincoln Police Department (LPD) and CenterPointe will partner to provide a Co-Responder Program that enables law enforcement and mental health professionals to jointly respond to calls for service involving people experiencing mental health crisis. During calls for service involving people experiencing mental health crisis, the Co-Responder Program will allow mental health professionals to provide their expertise and resources to those in crisis, while LPD officers maintain safety and security. The program is designed to provide responders greater flexibility by allowing LPD officers to return to service while clinicians stay on site working with the individual in crisis. September is National Recovery Month, a time to promote and support new evidence-based treatment and recovery practices, the nation’s strong and proud recovery community, and the dedication of service providers and communities who make recovery possible. Recovery Month provides hope that recovery is real and is possible. It’s the belief that things can improve, even when the present seems overwhelming. Overcoming obstacles often requires resilience and perseverance. It’s important to recognize that setbacks are a natural part of progress and not a sign of failure. Reaching out for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. Help is available. No one has to face difficulties alone. Visit centerpointe.org to learn how CenterPointe can help you on your recovery journey.

CenterPointe's Campus for Hope in Omaha was ranked in the top 10 of Newsweek's America's Best Addiction Treatment Centers in the Midwest category! Campus for Hope is a state-licensed, CARF-accredited residential substance use and mental health treatment facility, supporting underserved members of the greater Omaha metro community. The co-occurring residential treatment program is designed for a four to six month stay to equip individuals with the skills necessary for successful reintegration into society. The short-term residential treatment program is a 35-to-42-day program focused on beginning the recovery process and identifying resources that will aid in that process. Our unique approach focuses on providing person-centered, trauma-informed and whole-person care, utilizing evidence-based practices proven to help those CFH serves get better sooner, for longer.
