Food, culture, and music are the magnet that bring people together. This was on full display at Center on Cottage Grove's Jazz Brunch, hosted in partnership with Glovan Entertainment on March 1 to mark the end of Black History Month. The audience enjoyed a buffet brunch from Daley Restaurant, live performances by the musical group Sonic Healing, and a talk from jazz historian Mike Medina and jazz photographer and musician Tony Smith. Smith’s current fine art photography exhibit, Rhythmic Vibrations, is on display at the Center. Many thanks to all who joined us and to Windy City Times for spotlighting our gathering! bit.ly/COCGJazzBrunch #CenterOnCottageGrove #CenterOnHalsted #BlackHistoryMonthCelebration #Community #Culture #Food #Jazz #SouthSide
