In Center City, we take “Go Birds” to the next level! Earlier this week, a hawk was found dazed at #DilworthPark after an altercation with falcons. CCD’s Community Service Representatives (CSRs), parks and safety teams jumped into action, calling animal rescue and keeping passers-by a safe distance away before the falcon flew to the nearby café roof. Once animal rescue arrived, the hawk was taken in for care. Currently, Dilworth the Hawk is recovering at the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education and will hopefully be released back in the wild!
