A sure sign of spring – Centerbrook’s moss garden returns! This pint-sized paradise nestled between our buildings was restored by gardener and plantsman Keith Rustemeyer. We look forward to tending it with care in the coming months.

Centerbrook is inspired to design for institutions that interpret history, culture, and science. The Fairbanks House Museum in Dedham, MA is home to North America’s oldest timber frame structure. Built circa 1637, eight generations of the Fairbanks family lived there. Today, it educates visitors about the past to impact their futures. We are thrilled to support this mission with the design of a new Interpretive Center to further enrich their experience. https://lnkd.in/ej852isA

We're delighted that Nick Leiss and Noreen Slevin-Koczak joined the Centerbrook family. As facilities manager, Nick attends to the many projects that keep our buildings and grounds in tip-top shape: https://lnkd.in/e4NbDDB5 Noreen greets visitors and callers, processes construction shop drawings, and helps make the trains run in our busy front office: https://lnkd.in/e86xzv52 Welcome Nick and Noreen!

Take a seat, indeed! It’s an honor for us, as well.
Join us in Take a Seat for GCDS FIRST, a unique opportunity to fund the Amanda Gesine Winklevoss '94 Performing Arts Center, and cement your legacy at Greenwich Country Day School. One seat at a time, we will build a vibrant future for the performing arts at the Upper School. #GCDSTigersTogether #GCDSPerformingArts https://lnkd.in/gW5iamqK

We're reminded that architecture is a collaborative art. The Whittingham Discovery Center's LEED Platinum designation is case in point. This achievement was made possible through the dedication of our client, the Mill River Park Collaborative, and the expertise of the team of designers who conceived its systems, structure, site, and lighting. And to meet LEED's special requirements, it also relied on Sheri (Cheryl) Dieso, AIA, LEED AP BD C, CPHC of Bryant Dieso to coordinate and execute the certification process. Kudos to Sheri, our friend and former Centerbrookian, for her tireless work. https://lnkd.in/gnY5GM6q
