Center staff attended The Ohio Manufacturers' Association Workforce Summit, where industry leaders, policymakers, and experts gathered to address Ohio’s manufacturing workforce needs. The event highlighted innovative strategies for attracting, developing, and retaining talent, while also addressing the transformative role of AI in manufacturing. Discussions focused on how to navigate workforce changes and evolving industry demands, ensuring Ohio remains at the forefront of manufacturing excellence. It was great to see our friends from the Ohio Department of Higher Education, as well as representation from Northwest Ohio, including the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce and Pinnacle Plastic Products. The Center continues to support workforce development in the region by helping manufacturers upskill employees, connecting students with industry opportunities, and fostering partnerships that address workforce needs.
