On this #NationalMaritimeDay we are grateful and we are proud. A tremendous thank you to the US Coast Guard, US Army Corps of Engineers, Maryland Port Association and the local teams and authorities for their tireless work in getting the channel cleared promptly and safely for operations to resume and secure economic stability of the region.
It's a comeback story. Since the collapse of the Key Bridge, Ports America Chesapeake switched gears to preparing Seagirt and Dundalk Marine Terminals for resiliency. It did so by intensifying employee training, advancing terminal upgrade projects, and collaborating with sister ports to improve leadership skills. Efforts are still ongoing, as the Dali posts at Seagirt for the next few weeks. But as shipping vessels are scheduled to steadily return, Port of Baltimore remains ready and poised to come back better than ever. #MarylandTough #BaltimoreStrong
