Buses are the workhorse of American transit. Ensuring our nation’s buses are in peak condition is crucial for maintaining a reliable transportation system. Thanks to the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, FTA has invested nearly $5.5 billion to help transit agencies nationwide upgrade and expand their fleets with state-of-the-art, American-made buses and facilities. Since 2021, over 400 projects in 48 states have received federal funding, adding over 4,600 low and no-emission buses to the road, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and fostering a more sustainable and connected future. #3YearsofBIL bit.ly/3AGJ3WG
