Congratulations Drs. Flynn and Naar on publishing a chapter in this new book on Motivational Interviewing (MI)!! ?? ??
Flynn Heather & Sylvie Naar co-authored "Chapter 6: Motivational Interviewing in the Treatment of Depression" in the new book Motivational Interviewing in the Treatment of Psychological Problems. ???? They explore how Motivational Interviewing (MI) helps treat major depressive disorder by building empathy, fostering collaboration, and asking open-ended questions. They find MI not only boosts mood but also strengthens the foundation for other therapies, improving drug treatment outcomes. ??? ??
