(CSE) is a national nonprofit that accelerates adoption of clean transportation and distributed energy through effective and equitable program design and administration. Governments, utilities and the private sector trust CSE for its data-driven and software-enabled approach, deep domain expertise and customer-focused team. CSE works in over a dozen states that are home to a third of all Americans. We effectively, efficiently and equitably launch, manage and optimize incentive programs valued at over $4 billion including: ? The largest, longest-running EV incentive program in the U.S. ? The largest statewide EV charging infrastructure program in the U.S. ? Rooftop #solar can substantially reduce homeowners’ energy bills, but few low-income families can afford to buy and install a solar energy system. The The City of San Diego’s energy franchise agreement with San Diego Gas & Electric? called for creating an incentive program for low-income residents of neighborhoods most vulnerable to climate change impacts. Read the case study on the San Diego Solar Equity Program and learn how it is providing solar energy systems at little to no cost to homeowners. #equity #NASEO2025https://lnkd.in/gEZFf7F6

Low-income families in apartment buildings are not in a position to install #solar energy systems, and yet often bear the greatest burden from high energy costs. The Solar on Multifamily Affordable Housing Program (SOMAH) provides financial incentives that cover up to 85% of the costs of installing solar energy systems, delivering clean power and energy bill credits for both residents and property owners. The program offers a template and lessons for states and cities looking to deploy solar programs. Read the case study: https://lnkd.in/gXQg2MhQ #NASEO2025 #equity #SOMAH
