CRF aims to raise awareness and increase access to parenting resources/interventions to promote resilience in families.
关于我们
A growing body of research has shown how working with parents can improve mental health outcomes for children exposed to traumatic stress, and many research-tested programs have been developed and proven effective in strengthening families' responses to traumatic stress. However, few of these existing, research-tested interventions are making it into widespread practice. The Center for Resilient Families (CRF), funded with a $3 million grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, aims to raise awareness of and increase access to parenting interventions and resources to promote resilience in traumatized children. The Center for Resilient Families is now at Arizona State University's Research and Education Advancing Children's Health (REACH) Institute.

While some children navigate parental divorce with remarkable resilience, others experience ongoing mental health problems. What makes the difference? Research consistently demonstrates that children who thrive after divorce benefit from: Healthy Parent-Child Relationships: Consistent, nurturing, and actively responsive interactions with both parents. Effective Communication: Open and honest dialogue about feelings and concerns. Reduced Exposure to Parental Conflict: Minimizing the child's involvement in parental disputes. The eNew Beginnings Program (eNBP) is designed to empower parents with the tools and strategies necessary for children to navigate the challenges of divorce successfully. We focus on: Improving parent-child communication and fostering healthy relationships. Creating a more stable and supportive environment for your child. Providing parents with strategies to reduce the child's exposure to conflict. Why choose the eNew Beginnings Program? Evidence-Based: Our program is grounded in years of research and has proven to be effective. Accessible Online Format: Participate from the comfort of your home, at your own pace. Affordable: $49 for the 6-session program; $69 for the 10-session program Focus on Resilience: We equip you with the skills you need to help your child not just survive but thrive. Don't leave your child's well-being to chance. Invest in your child's future. Take the first session of the eNBP for free at divorceandparenting.com.
