We believe prevention is the most powerful tool in breaking the cycle of violence. By equipping young people with the skills to navigate conflict, practice empathy, and lead with compassion, we help create safer schools, stronger families, and a more peaceful future. Thanks to our community of supporters, in 2024 alone, 496 children participated in our prevention programs—learning to become nonviolent role models at school and home. Through our FACES Nonviolent Leadership Program, we worked with students at Irwin and Fairfield Elementary Schools and the summer camps at McMillen and Weisser Park Community Centers, providing safe, engaging experiences for our community’s most vulnerable children. And the impact is undeniable: ? 100% of school administrators reported that their entire school benefited from our program. ? 96% of youth believe they can be a positive, nonviolent leader. ? 100% of teachers recommend FACES to their students. ? 89% of parents saw a positive change in their child. These numbers reflect real transformation—made possible by our supporters. Every dollar given and every shared message about our work, helps us reach more children, providing them with the skills and confidence to challenge beliefs that fuel violence and create positive change. ?? Together, we are building a future where every child has the tools to lead with kindness and courage.
