Bridge Michigan’s Jonathan Oosting and Mike Wilkinson were named Journalists of the Year, BridgeDetroit’s Jena Brooker was named Young Journalist of the Year, and both publications also won nearly 30 awards from the Detroit chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.

Help Bridge Michigan welcome three new interns this summer from the state’s public universities. Gabby Nelson from MSU, Sneha Dhandapani from UofM and Daniel Schoenherr from MSU will report stories and assist Bridge’s full-time reporters.
