Our team has hired the business Think Tank from the The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business Center for Innovation Strategies OnRamp to assist in the development of a new business concept. The students are gaining real world and practical experience in research, product development, audience strategy, and business feasibility frameworks. We can’t wait to launch this new product! This summer, a student team explored "Connectivity in Society" through The Ohio State University Center for Innovation Strategies OnRamp program. This collaboration between OSU, Honda Research Institute USA, Inc., and 99P Labs pushed the boundaries of future connectivity concepts. We extend our sincere thanks to Parth Agate, XingZhi Li, Nikil Prabhakar, and Om Patil for their innovative work on device connectivity, industrial knowledge sharing, immersive smart environments, and adaptive biotech for mental health. As I reflect on my experience as a marketing major at Ohio State, approaching my final year, I find myself drawn to the transformative impact of the OnRamp student-driven innovation program. My involvement with the Center for Innovation Strategies OnRamp was instrumental in solidifying my passion for marketing. The OnRamp program provided a platform to develop my skills in project management, innovation, and consumer behavior analysis. Through hands-on experiences and mentorship, my confidence grew, and my understanding deepened. I learned that marketing isn't just about promoting products; it's about understanding consumer needs and crafting compelling solutions that resonate with them. This journey has equipped me with invaluable skills that are directly applicable to my professional career. From honing my creativity, to understanding consumer needs and mastering strategic problem-solving, the OnRamp program has prepared me to tackle real-world challenges. To prospective sponsors, I encourage engagement with programs like OnRamp, where students gain experiential learning opportunities that benefit both the sponsors and the students. By fostering these partnerships, sponsors can tap into fresh perspectives and explore customer-centric solutions, while students gain the practical skills and confidence needed to thrive in their future roles.
