The Center for Community GIS (CCGIS) is an entrepreneurial L3C company dedicated to the broad use and participatory application of digital mapping technologies. CCGIS supports the mapping and geographic information needs of public interest groups, both large and small. Our partners are active in land conservation, natural resources management, environmental planning, recreation and tourism, cultural heritage, public health, poverty alleviation, and education. We value projects that directly engage communities in mapping processes. We offer a variety of services to help organizations leverage the power of cutting-edge digital mapping tools and products, including: Award-winning cartography, GIS data development, Spatial analysis, Interactive mapping, GPS field inventories, Customized trainings, and Participatory GIS methods.
