For tickets and more event details, visit: https://lnkd.in/g-qS735W __ "Located in the vibrant Mission District on the transit-rich 16th Street corridor, Casa Adelante provides 143 affordable family units, providing significant new affordable housing within a neighborhood struggling with displacement. Six of the units are townhome-style units for larger families. The ground floor provides community spaces for residents, tenant space for community arts organizations, and an early-childhood education center. The sheltered podium level includes in-home daycare units with direct access to a play area, for residents to offer daycare to other families in the building. The roof deck includes a community garden for food production, with an outdoor kitchen for resident use. Colorful exterior tile, and the mural series "Make Things New" by the San Francisco artist Lorraine Garcia-Nakata on the 16th Street facade and podium level, celebrate the culture and community of the Mission District. The project provides an example of how developers and architects can address community needs while integrating into the culture and life of the neighborhood." __ Architect and Interiors: LEDDY MAYTUM STACY Architects Contractor: Nibbi Brothers General Contractors Structural Engineer: Tipping MEP Engineer: EDesignC, Inc.
