I like to do a mini Radial nerve block/hydrodiseection prior to treating the common extensor tendon with orthobiologics. it helps procedural and post procedural pain and may have some long term pain modulatory effects in patients that had chronic elbow pain. I've seen research for other areas such as a simple suprascapular nerve block helping shoulder pain for months.
