The preclinical posters provide insights into the differentiated mechanisms of action of g-NK cells enabled by CellChorus’ AI-driven TIMING technology Abstract #365: “Artificial Intelligence-Based Dynamic Single-Cell Imaging Reveals Enhanced Migration and Immune Synapse Formation by IDP-023, an Allogeneic g-NK Cell Product." and their potential efficacy in solid tumors, both, through showing their strong antibody-dependent cellular (ADCC) toxicity in ex vivo assays and through analyses of clinical outcomes in patients treated with trastuzumab that highlight the powerful effect of naturally occurring g-NK cells on the outcome of patients undergoing therapy with monoclonal antibodies. Congratulations to Sunil Acharya, Katy Rezvani and their collaborators on their publication in Cancer Discovery describing how CD28 costimulation enhances CAR-NK cell function! CAR27 NK cells with CD28-based costimulation were approximately three times more likely to exhibit serial killing behavior and resulted in significantly better long-term cytotoxicity, polyfunctionality, and survival in animals. CellChorus (YC S21) and the University of Houston have received a $2.5 million STTR fast-track award for innovations in AI/ML! The funding from the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) at The National Institutes of Health will be used to develop an integrated computer vision system for label-free analysis and focus restoration to expand applications of the CellChorus TIMING? platform. TIMING generates high-throughput in-vitro assays that quantitatively profile interactions between cells on a large scale, particularly what happens when immune cells confront target cells. This has been especially useful in immuno-oncology, where it has demonstrated its power in designing novel therapies, selecting lead candidates for clinical trials, and evaluating the potency of manufactured cells. https://lnkd.in/gWNy9K6t
