?? For over 50 years, Robert Reeves has been imaging the Moon with the same trusty C8. Today, he takes us to the aftermath of one of the Moon’s most violent events—Tycho’s explosive formation. With the Sun low on the lunar horizon, Tycho’s bright rays fade into the background, letting the surrounding chaos come into focus. Thousands of tiny impact pits—carved by ejecta from the blast—stretch across the terrain, densely packed within 200 km before thinning out. This was a true no man’s land during the stony hailstorm. A dramatic reminder of the Moon’s violent past. #LunarImaging #TychoCrater #CelestronC8 #RobertReeves #MoonShots

?? Teamwork Makes the Dream Work ???? ? Back in January, Celestron teammates Kevin and Chris took advantage of dark skies on our company camping trip — and the results speak for themselves. Using Celestron Origin, Kevin captured deep-sky data right from camp. Then Chris took over, stacking 20-second exposures with PixInsight and Photoshop to bring out every detail. Swipe to see the original from Origin vs. the final stacked image. ???? Just another example of how Origin supports you at every stage of your imaging journey.? ? Awesome work, Kevin and Chris! ?? ? #CelestronOrigin #Astrophotography #Teamwork #DarkSkyCamping #DeepSkyImaging #NightSky
