Hurricane Helene’s impact in our communities in the southeast is beyond heartbreaking. ?? Through all the destruction we are seeing, I am in awe of the stories that continue to roll in of heroism, strength ????, resilience, determination, and pure grit of associates who are taking care of their communities and each other. Since the impact of the storm, many support teams have been on the ground across the southeast providing meals, water, washing stations and other support. Today, Ivy Barney & Chris Nicolas participated in a convoy with 42 trucks filled with water, food and recovery supplies traveling from Welford, SC headed to Ashville, NC. We have another one headed to Tennessee as well. I’m proud of our associates and everything they do to bring our purpose to life for their communities – helping people live better. ???? Startups affiliated with #UARK now have a new space in downtown Fayetteville to help launch their ventures, as?Startup Village South?has relocated to?One East Center! ???? Our facility provides 24/7 access to dedicated desk space, free WiFi, a conference room, lounge?and small kitchenette. Founders will also be adjacent to the?Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center, which relocated as well. "This is the primary benefit of the move: we're building a nexus of entrepreneurship and small business support in downtown #Fayetteville," said Zoe Buonaiuto, Ph.D., OEI's director of business incubation.????? "ASBTDC,?Startup Junkie and Startup Village will be in the same building, providing a central location for U of A students and affiliates to get help in launching their ventures in one building." Applications are open to early-stage companies — scalable, pre-revenue ventures with limited operations or minimal market presence, or those in their first year of revenue refining their business model. Big news from USL Arkansas- The new pro soccer team in Northwest Arkansas is officially Ozark United FC! ??? Stone Ward worked closely with the soccer club to ensure every detail of its branding told a story. After gathering thousands of pieces of community feedback, we crafted a brand that emphasizes the unity, natural beauty, and pride of the Ozarks. The "O" crest represents the iconic mountains, while the interwoven "O-Z" monogram symbolizes the interconnected cities of NWA. The ascending stripes symbolize the region's potential, while shades of green nod to the Ozark forests, and the number 25 set within a diamond honors Arkansas as the 25th state in the Union and showcases our state’s unique association with natural diamonds. This branding is a love letter to Northwest Arkansas and its people, and we can't wait to see Ozark United FC take the field! ??
