Our innovative carbon capture and utilization technology captures industrial CO2 emissions and converts them into methanol, which forms 35% of vinyl acetate monomer – a crucial element to produce polymers often used in adhesive formulations. By leveraging this technology, Henkel will offer customers water-based adhesives made from captured CO2 emissions, creating new opportunities for the packaging and consumer goods sectors to increase the renewable content of their products. This week, our Dallas team and the Celanese Foundation hosted our first-ever wish granting celebration supporting Make-A-Wish North Texas! To grant a wish for a “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York”-themed vacation in New York City, our employees worked hard to craft an immersive experience – Home Alone characters, holiday décor galore, refreshments like hot dogs, pretzels and hot chocolate, a friendship bracelet making station and more. Make-A-Wish’s mission is to grant the heartfelt wish of every eligible child battling critical illness. This includes 161 counties covered by one organization in just North Texas.
