Thank you, Chicago Inno, for honoring us at the 2024 Fire Awards! The Celadyne Technologies team had a wonderful time connecting with the changemakers of our favorite city.

Are you feeling the heat? Chicago definitely is – according to the National Weather Service Weather Prediction Center, the Midwest is going through one of the worst heatwaves in years. Heat indices of 105 - 115 and lows in the upper-mid 80s pose a heightened risk of heat-related illness. And unfortunately, this kind of extreme weather is becoming the norm. Every year, our planet is getting hotter and hotter – and our population is dealing with the consequences. From raging wildfires to far-reaching floods, the effects of climate change are right in front of our eyes. We're reaching a point of no return, and it's imperative that we take action ASAP. The need to decarbonize is at an all-time high. Wide-spread green technology – including decarbonization and the use of other clean energy sources – is the key to not only creating a better future, but ensuring that we even have a future. Exciting developments are underway for Dynamo member Celadyne Technologies! The innovative decarbonization and hydrogen solution company is moving into heavy-duty systems using its durable hydrogen fuel cells, marking Celadyne's first step of many in fueling hydrogen solutions into the mass-energy and transportation markets. Supported by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) as part of a broader initiative to advance electric vehicle technologies, this project leverages Celadyne's Dura technology to develop more resilient fuel cells for heavy-duty applications, playing a key role in a larger decarbonization strategy for trucking and industrial sectors. #GreenHydrogen #Decarbonization
