Three employees from CEJN Group in Sk?vde – Pierre Bellehed, Gunnar Hellichius, and Tommy Nord B?rring – were honoured with the 2025 Swedish Assembly Award. The award was presented today, March 12, during this year's Assembly Conference, organised by the Swedish Assembly Forum, run by RISE Research Institutes of Sweden. This year's conference theme was ‘successful assembly in a changing world’. The jury praised the recipients for creating flexibility in their assembly through automated logistics, resulting in reduced floor space requirements, and a better working environment by removing the need for forklifts and eliminating heavy lifts. The group's efforts also enabled the company to expand into an entirely new market segment using existing staff. The award is presented by the Swedish Assembly Forum, which serves as a network for companies, organisations, academia, and institutes involved in assembly. The forum has over sixty member organisations and is led by a council comprising individuals active in industry and research. The council is charged with identifying shared needs among companies, facilitating knowledge exchange, and encouraging collaborations between research organisations and the Swedish industry.
