    Confused about cap rates? ?? AJ Osborne and J. Scott break it down in this video! In short, a cap rate is a straightforward way to determine how much a property is worth based on its income. For example, if a property generates $100,000 a year and you buy it for $1 million, that’s a 10% cap rate. But if it only brings in $50,000 annually, then the cap rate drops to 5%.
