Cedar Oaks Lakeside Resort was built in 1889! We have kept the traditional resort atmosphere with a modern touch, creating a year-round vacationers paradise. Come create memories which will last a lifetime. Located on the beautiful east shore of Houghton Lake, the view and 170ft lake frontage give you the true feel of Michigan’s beauty.
The resort is made up of 17 total units within the four buildings, comprised of hotel rooms, cottages, studios and a beach house. We have two shared fire pits on the property and a large sandy area for the kids to enjoy. Come relax for a vacation, bachelor/bachelorette party, have your wedding/wedding reception, ice fish, kayak/jet ski and so much more!

Welcome to the second and final weekend of Tip Up Town 2025! Mother nature is on our side this year, but tends to like to keep us on our toes. Please don't forget basic ice safety, when enjoying ice on a body of water. Check for yourselves, rather than go on someone else's measurement's. Ice changes fast and is different thicknesses everywhere. Enjoy this weekends festivities & when looking for place to thaw, come check out Nanette, Chef Kenny, and their teams at Sullys On the Lake.

Tip Up Town is just two weekends away & it is looking to be a great one! Mother nature appears to be onboard with our schedules this year. Outside of TUT, Fast Eddie's also has an awesome set of snowmobile races planned. Cedar Oaks Lakeside Resort still has a couple medium and smaller/individual suites available.
