?? Navigating AI's Role in Long Term Business Strategy ?? Last week I had the opportunity to speak on a panel at the CECP CEO Investor Forum about the role of AI in long term business strategy alongside Lyndon Park from ICR and Christopher Wellise from Equinix. It was an honor to have Nelson Griggs, president of Nasdaq, as the moderator. We had a rich discussion on: 1. ?? Governance : The importance of governance and robust oversight that is not siloed in a compliance team but integrated throughout the business. 2. ?? Financial Materiality: The business value of responsible AI and that this focus is here to stay even over the next 4 years. 3. ?? Climate: The climate related implications of widespread cross sector AI deployment. This was such a crucial discussion, evidenced by Glass, Lewis & Co. 's announcement 2 days later stating that it now expects companies that deploy AI to provide disclosure on board oversight regarding issues related to AI. Thank you Nandika, Lynne and Katie for the opportunity! #CEOInvestorForum #SustainableFinance #ResponsibleInvesting #stewardship #AI #corporatestrategy Federated Hermes Limited

Last week, I attended the CECP Fall Board Meeting and Advisory Council Forum in NYC led by our exceptional long time CEO, Daryl Brewster. For a quarter of a century, CECP has championed the notion, in the words of one of our founders Paul Newman, that business must be a “force for good” in the world.?And we represent over 200 of the world’s largest companies, all in service to that simple, powerful idea. I strongly believe that we are making a difference in support of our member companies EVERY day.?This is largely due to Daryl's leadership. In my estimation, he is one of the elite CEOs in the non-profit space.?We are most fortunate to have him leading the charge.
