Congratulations to the students who placed in their FBLA competitive events at the Region 3 Leadership Conference on November 19. These students have the opportunity to compete at the State Level in February.

CCPS held its first Apprenticeship Maryland Signing Day this morning at Elkton High School, where the Career and Technical Department accepted two proclamations for National Apprenticeship Week, one from President Biden and one from Governor Moore, during the proceedings. Over 30 students attended the ceremony with their families and mentors to sign their certificates. CCPS already has over 80 youth apprentices this year and around 100 businesses in the working network.

Congratulations to the 2025 Support Staff of the Year Nominees! We are excited to celebrate the outstanding contributions of this year's nominees. Their hard work and dedication have made a significant impact on our county. The gala honoring these exceptional individuals will take place on Monday, December 16, at Schaefer's Canal House. We look forward to recognizing their achievements and celebrating together!

American Education Week - November 18-22, 2024

Today, the Cecil County Council of Student Councils (CCCSC) had a breakfast meeting with the Board of Education and the Leadership Team. The council was able to represent their high schools by asking important questions and engaging in meaningful dialogue with the school system's leaders.
