I am incredibly proud of my amazing team at CDA. Everyday I am amazed at their caring, empathy and innovation and how those qualities create positive change families across San Diego County and child care providers across California. Bravo! We don’t do this for personal recognition or gain, but this recognition by the San Diego Business Journal acknowledges CDA’s life changing work. Thank you CDA!

Yesterday, CDA was proud to be a finalist in the Large Nonprofit category at the San Diego Business Journal's Nonprofit & Corporate Citizenship Award Ceremony! While we didn’t bring home the title, we’re incredibly grateful for the recognition and inspired by the amazing nonprofits we met. A huge shoutout to our incredible team for their tireless dedication to supporting children, families, and child care providers ??. Thanks to their hard work, countless families have access to reliable and affordable child care, and providers can serve nutritious meals while stabilizing their businesses with additional stipends. Together, we’re improving the access and quality of child care in our region and beyond. As we celebrate our 50th Anniversary, we recognize that none of this would be possible without the passion and commitment of our employees. You are truly the heart of CDA! ?? We provided 400 families, children, and child care providers with the resources they need to succeed. From backpacks to books, we're excited to help children start the new school year prepared for anything! ??
