North Dakota is the clear leader with actively injecting projects. ?? The lower left plot shows the permitted injection rates where we see a sharp uptick since June 2023. ?? The lower right section shows upcoming and recently finalized public hearings. ??? New potential datacenter with #CCS ?? Interesting development: Sharon AI and New Era Helium (Nasdaq:NEHC) are looking at a new location in Ector County, Texas. We have tracked this JV since a while in New Mexico (https://lnkd.in/gCdHWBWF), but of course the Permian Basin and specifically Ector County are attractive places to develop these projects. #datacenter ? #naturalgas ? #carbonstorage

??? Energy Transfer is planning to install a new Carbon Capture unit at its Clear Lake Amine Plant in Louisiana. ?? Class II wells adjacent to gas processing plants have been important since a while, but we see select operators doubling down. ?? The subsidiary ET Gathering & Processing LLC is planning to install a new amine treating unit, which will likely increase the acid gas removal CO2 from 65,000 metric tons per year in 2023. ??? BKV Corporation just reported 44,437 metric tons sequestered CO2 in Q4 2025 ?? That's about 493 metric tons per day with this Class II well. ? For 2024 the total amount injected was 165,069 metric tons ?? Congratulations on this well executed project!
