The building needs extensive renovation including roof replacement and extensive interior repair. Interested parties may submit a bid to Brittany Hensley, CFO @ [email protected]. All reasonable bids will be considered with the highest bid being awarded the building. The Community Council of South Central Texas is a private non-profit Community Action Agency that serves 31 counties in South Central and West Texas. Counties include Atascosa, Bandera, Bee, Brewster, Comal, Crane, Culberson, Dimmit, Edwards, Frio, Gillespie, Guadalupe, Hudspeth, Jeff Davis, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, Kinney, LaSalle, Live Oak, Maverick, McMullen, Medina, Pecos, Presidio, Real, Terrell, Uvalde, Val Verde, Wilson, and Zavala. Programs operated by the agency include utility assistance, home and rental assistance, case management, disaster relief, assistance to persons with disabilities, weatherization assistance, and Women, Infants and Children (WIC). As the service delivery agency to the impoverished, CCSCT will continue to identify needs, prioritize them, and stimulate, promote, secure, and use all available resources to alleviate poverty.
