Our WIC program is participating in the Clothes-Line Project for Domestic Violence Awareness Month this October!?? Celebrating #GrantsAcrossTexas in the Alamo area ? TVC Chairwoman Laura Koerner presented $7.5 million in grants to 22 Alamo area, Hill Country organizations that serve #TexasVeterans. From financial assistance, home modifications, veteran mental health programs, and more, these funds are estimated to serve 7,290 local veterans and their families. ?? Karnes County August interagency meeting was the first group meeting held at our Action Center! The meeting was led by Methodist Ministries Wesley Nurse Megan Martinez, Community Coordinator Rubi Munoz, and WIC staff personnel. Several organizations gathered for a light lunch and to exchange details about beneficial community resources. Thank you, community partners, for serving the community and making it a better place….
