We contend for the credibility of Christian resources in public life, for the public good.

关于我们

The Center for Christianity and Public Life is a nonpartisan institution, based in Washington, D.C. The Center’s mission is to contend for the credibility of Christian resources in public life, for the public good. We advance this mission through two parallel streams of work: Public Influence–we explain Christianity to the public, and advance Christian resources for the good of the public; and Christian Spiritual Formation–we grow, resource, convene and represent the community of Christians who are convinced that spiritual formation is central to civic renewal.

  • The dust has settled on another election year, but for many pastors and church leaders, the challenges of political division remain deeply felt. As congregations navigate job losses, generational tensions, and the emotional toll of shifting political landscapes, how can ministry leaders respond with wisdom and peace? Join us on April 10 to explore a way forward, together. Hosted by the Matthew 5:9 Fellowship, the Center for Christianity and Public Life, and the Dream Collective, we will gather at the Capital Turnaround in Washington, D.C. to offer space for reflection and practical guidance. In this time of great disruption, we invite pastors, lay leaders, and Christian ministry leaders who seek to lead and serve with joyful confidence, as a blessing to the communities and people to which they have been called.
