Today our Executive Director, Nina Packer and our Athletics Consulting Team—Dr. Aaron Geter and Patrick Smith —enjoyed a great day golfing as a team and a sponsor of the Clayton County Chamber of Commerce, Jonesboro GA Golf Classic. The Chamber is led by President & CEO, Valencia Williamson—also a member of the CCPSF Board of Directors. It was awesome to spend time with professionals who are partners in our collective work in Clayton County. CCPSF Board Members Charles Moon (Truist ) and Mitch Johnson (Primerica) were also involved in the tournament today.

We’re thrilled to share that the recent graduates of Clayton County Public Schools had an extraordinary experience touring the customer service functions at Delta Air Lines corporate headquarters! This behind-the-scenes look provided them with invaluable insights into what it’s like to work at one of the industry’s leading companies. This tour marks a significant milestone for the participants who have just completed the classroom phase of the **Customer Service Career Pipeline Program**. This innovative program, a collaborative effort by the Clayton County Public Schools Foundation Inc. and the Clayton County Chamber of Commerce, is made possible with generous financial support from Delta Air Lines. It’s designed to equip our 2024 graduates with the skills and experiences necessary for a successful career in customer service. Today was a great day as we had the pleasure of attending a partnership meeting at the Delta Air Lines World Headquarters. We were honored to have the Clayton County Public Schools Foundation Inc. Executive Director, Clayton County Public Schools leaders from Teaching and Learning & Strategic Improvement, and CTAE hosted by CCPSF Board Member Angela Benjamin. It is amazing to see the impact of Delta Air Lines' grant funding on our students' success through student scholarships and programs.
