An exciting new partnership between CCN's Rutland County Head Start program and Wonderfeet Kids' Museum which will benefit Head Start students and families, as well as families throughout the community. "Children learn in the context of play and in the context of being engaged in play," said Donna Barrow, the director of Rutland County Head Start. "And the kind of play opportunities and the spaces where children can imagine and explore really, really match that. The Wonderfeet Museum is just an environment that promotes that." "The partnership will also see the launch of free monthly play dates for all community members who have kids under age 5, the non-profits announced." https://lnkd.in/eDqeJdzS

CCN recently held its annual Developmental Services picnic at the Franklin Conference Center in Rutland, with over 150 people in attendance including individuals served by CCN and their caregivers, as well as a range of staff from across the organization. The event, which included fun games, a DJ and dancing, face painting, lunch and dessert served by CCN staff, door prizes, a photo booth, and a magic show delivered by Doug Norford, CCN Director of Child & Family Services, was a tremendous success again this year. Thanks to all who were able to join us!
