关于我们
Conservation Corps North Bay's mission is to develop youth and conserve natural resources for a resilient, sustainable, and equitable community. Since 1982, we have provided thousands of local young people with the opportunity to gain the skills required to secure living-wage employment through on-the-job training while completing essential environmental projects in our communities. Corpsmembers simultaneously earn a paycheck, work toward their diploma, and receive supportive services, preparing them for their future careers.

Corpsmember Highlight: Salvador Sal started at CCNB a little under a year ago, and in that short span of time, he acquired an outstanding amount of experience and certificates, such as pole saw, Chipper 1, and Sawyer 1 & 2. He also moved up to Level 2 within 4 months of his employment. Sal has a calm and collected demeanor, which provides the team with a sense of security under stressful conditions. His supervisor expresses that no matter the condition, he stands his ground, holds the line, and weather the storm like a true warrior! Congrats, Sal!

?? Last month. CCNB corpsmembers took a trip to Point Reyes National Seashore. In collaboration with our partners at Explore the Coast, corpsmembers learned about elephant seals at Drake's Beach, plat species around the park, and the Coast Miwok people at a Miwok village recreation during this visit. ?? This exposure ties their hands-on work in conservation to a broader understanding of local lands, their inhabitants and their history. #pointreyes #ccnb #conservation #conservationcorps #explorethecoast

Corpsmember Highlight: Yamileth D. ?? In the time Yamileth has been at CCNB, she has made numerous strides towards becoming a working professional. She has attained a number of certificates that strengthen her resume, including Chipper, Sawyer, Power Carrier, OSHA 10, and Certified Forklift Operator, among many others. Yamileth also holds a leadership role on the crew as one of our translators; she’s tasked with translating important and critical information from staff members to other ESL corpsmembers. She’s a valuable contributor to our crew day in and day out, and we are so proud of what she’s accomplished and what she’ll accomplish in the future! We appreciate you, Yamileth! #ccnb #corpsmember #youthdevelopment #conservationcorps

Corpsmember Highlight: Julio G. Julio joined us at CCNB in May of last year, and since joining, he has been a kind, diligent, and consistent member of our community. Julio is always in a good mood and looking for ways to help his supervisors and fellow corpsmembers. He is always enthusiastic about learning new things, such as new tools or information about the ecosystems we work in. He is quick to provide smiles, fist bumps, and hellos when arriving or returning to the office. Congrats, Julio!
