Save-the-Date: 5th International Columbia Coaching Conference | October 16 - 18, 2024. We are excited to return to Teachers College, Columbia University's campus in-person (since 2018)! Our Theme: "HIGH-IMPACT COACHING - In An Era of Hybrid Intelligence," will provide a vehicle for exploring important questions (e.g., What is uniquely human about coaching? What are existing and promising AI applications for coaching? What are the implications for hybrid intelligence and the work of professional coaching, now and into the future?). What is hybrid intelligence? In short, it is a new technology that combines elements of artificial intelligence (AI) and human expertise designed to bridge the gap between the two forms of intelligence. Stay-Turned For: (1) call-for-proposals to lead conference sessions and (2) additional updates (e.g., registration). We are in the process of updating the conference website: https://lnkd.in/dbFJC7y Call-To-Action: Spread the word and let's make this our best learning community event to date. You can start by liking, commenting (if you attended a prior conference), and reposting to your network on LinkedIn. Nearly 500 delegates attended our last on-campus conference in October 2028. #3cp #CUcoaching #executivecoaching #coachingeducation

Big Congrats to Maria Wade the newly appointed President of the Columbia Coaching Learning Association (CCLA - the official alumni organization for The Columbia Coaching Certification Program - 3CP) Board of Directors. Maria is the 4th president since the formation of first alumni group lead by Cohort 1 member Lou Chrostowski; he was succeeded by Sharon Dauk who has served 2 terms and is the immediate past president of CCLA - it is with deep appreciation that we acknowledge Sharon's leadership during many transitions and challenging times, including COVID; and importantly Jean S. Frankel served as CCLA's 3rd president and was instrumental in partnership with Sharon in realizing the organization's formal non-profit status, as well as, serving as the co-chair for 3CP's very first international coaching conference in 2014 (along with Maureen Solero). These and a number of other formal CCLA board members will serve as resources as Maria takes on her new role. Maria Wade brings an impressive mix of executive coaching expertise and leadership prowess, poised to enrich the CCLA's mission. Her commitment to professional development is evident by her recent accomplishment of becoming a Master Certified Coach (MCC), granted by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) in record time after graduating from The Columbia Coaching Certification Program (3CP). With over 15 years of leadership across diverse industries, Maria's strategic insight and experience will become invaluable assets as she leads the CCLA through its next chapter of the organization's evolution - with the aim of becoming a vibrant, global learning community of 3CP alums! 3CP Alums Call-To-Action: Please join me in welcoming Maria to her new role and for those who are interested respond to the upcoming "call-for-volunteers" for CCLA Board Members (both officers and members at large). If you are a program alum and have not received a communication from the program in the past year, please email Eugene Chang ([email protected]) to provide him with your contact information so we can alert you of a range of upcoming events and initiatives. 2024 is the year of 3CP alumni engagement with a range of exciting way to get involved: (1) CCLA Board; (2) 2024 Conference Leadership Team (call for volunteers next week); (3) First Cohort of the New 3CP Fellows Program; (4) Presenting/Attending the 5 Columbia International Coaching Conference October 16 - 18, 2024; and (5) the launch of our new alumni platform that will serve as a hub for connections within and across cohorts; access to various resources; and a portal for promoting 3CP alums professional profiles to individual clients and organizations (stay turned for more information - again, make sure we can reach you)! #3cp #cucoaching #CCLA #executivecoaching #coachingexcellence #coachingeducation
