Meatless Mondays for a wellness win! To support their health and longevity, our residents enjoy the option of Meatless Mondays to try new plant-forward meals and new entrees. It’s never about taking away foods from the menus they enjoy. Rather, it’s about what we can add in for healthy aging and new dining experiences. Meatless Monday doesn't mean flavor or nourishment are compromised As Ingleside at King Farm resident Carl says: “We have specials every week and instead of pot roast on a Monday, it’s a vegetarian dish, a fish dish, or some sort of chicken dish, and it’s been publicized every week for the past 6 months.” Removing meat once a week gives the opportunity to elevate flavors, nutrition and menu variety. Thanks to residents like Carl (and the rest of the Resident Council members at IKF) every Meatless Monday, residents have the opportunity to enjoy other classics or explore new cuisines. Making waves of impact throughout #InternationalWomensMonth! We’re excited to highlight our WAVE Panel discussion, “Moving Forward Together! Educating and Inspiring Generations,” in celebration of #InternationalWomensMonth. WAVE (Women’s Amplified Voices for Equality) is one of our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) dedicated to creating an inclusive environment that supports, challenges, and advocates for CCL women leaders, providing them with the tools and resources they need to thrive.
