With 90,000 estimated BEAD-eligible locations and $651.8 million in funding, Minnesota’s BEAD program is your chance to revolutionize broadband access. A Smart Network Design with GIS Mapping will be crucial for applicants to define their own areas by optimizing routes, leveraging infrastructure, identifying high-demand areas, and a ensuring efficient fiber deployment. In Minnesota, BEAD will have three subgrantee selection rounds: 1. March 10 - April 7, 2025: Priority (Fiber) Projects with applicant-defined areas. 2.
