  • Words are powerful! Upgrade your work lingo and include some of these POWER phrases (like paraphrase, but punny) to use around the (virtual) office or really any setting where we want to collaborate with other people and get things done! We can set our teams up for success by making sure that we are all on the same page. For example, by decreasing distractions and letting someone know that you are giving them your full attention followed by actively listening to what they are saying, communication will become much more effective, direct, and satisfying. We are all going to make mistakes once in a while, we will never have ALL of the information, and sometimes we need to ask for help, but if there is no trust in one another, then there isn't much of a team. Give these a try and let us know your thoughts!? #powerphrases #WorkHealth?#teamwork?#teamworkmakesthedreamwork

  • Self-esteem train coming down the track! Chugga, chugga, chugga, chugga, chugga, chugga, chugga, chugga, CHOO-CHOO! Feeling a little less like yourself at work recently? This quick, easy, 3-step journaling exercise might be just the self-care recipe you have been looking for ?? Sometimes we doubt ourselves and our ability to be successful at work and in general. We need reminders now and again to bring ourselves back to baseline. 1. Start by writing a list of all the good work you've done at past places of employment. 2. Second, make a second list of all the great work you're doing at your current job. 3. Third, mentally reflect on these lists. Take a moment to write down how you feel when you look at them. Finally, write down a short explanation of why you feel that way. What comes up for you? You might be surprised ?? #workplaceselfesteem #progressoverperfection #goodwork
