UT System News of the Day: The University of Texas at Austin's Center for Community College Student Engagement (CCCSE) released a report Wednesday highlighting significant mental health challenges among community college students and next steps to support learners. Based on surveys of over 60,000 returning students and 14,000 new students from multiple institutions, the report found that 56% of students experienced mental health issues that affected their academics, and 37% considered leaving college due to these challenges.
