    Many oil companies want CO2 because it’s great for improving well economics. Injecting the gas into a depleted well can boost the pressure, change the oil viscosity to improve flow, and capture the CO2. But many other industries ALSO want CO2, leading to high prices. ?? Greenhouses - great for growing food and flowers. ?? Food and beverages - carbonation, flash freezing, food packaging. ?? Healthcare - surgeries and protocols. ?? Water treatment - Ph control. ?? Manufacturing - fertilizers and plastics. What oil companies could really use is a low cost, low energy, clean, scalable, easy to deploy solution that can extract CO2 directly from the atmosphere and make it available where we need it — oil well sites. In my latest podcast, I interview Samir A. about his innovative graphene-coated ceramic pearls that capture CO2 efficiently, sustainably, and economically. ??
