Founded in 2006, Cornerstone Crossroads Academy (CCA) is a faith-based high school for students 17-25 years old located in South Dallas. CCA exists for students who had lost hope in school and are now ready to reinvest in their futures. CCA students have the opportunity to earn a diploma, discover their purpose and find pathways to success through rigorous academics, holistic case management and supportive vocational training. CCA is fully funded through donations from individuals, churches, businesses and foundations. Volunteers are critical to CCA's success and provide support in many ways, including prayer, meals and tutoring. OUR MISSION The mission of Cornerstone Crossroads Academy is to develop urban youth through transformative education, equipping future leaders to impact their communities for Christ. OUR APPROACH CCA takes a long-term, familial approach to education. We are committed to providing excellent academics, holistic support, and a positive environment. OUR PROGRAMS Academics - CCA is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). Students meet the requirements for a Texas high school diploma or equivalency using a blended learning model of online self-paced courses along with teacher-led classes. Both of our academic pathways prepare students for the workforce and life after high school. Pathway 1 – GED & Workforce Pathway 2 – Diploma & College Prep Vocations - The CCA Work Academy provides both students and graduates opportunities to learn the importance of work, increase personal earning potential for economic stability, and develop skills to serve our community. Case Management - Our approach addresses the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of our students. This is achieved through one-on-one case management services and referrals. There’s such rich history right here in #SunnySouthDallas and we want our students to know all about it! Our visit to the Juanita J. Craft House and Civil Rights Museum opened their eyes to the life and legacy of Mrs. Craft and inspired them to leave a lasting mark on their community and the world. We couldn’t leave without shouting out Ms. Perez for giving us a beautiful and insightful tour! But don’t just take our word for it. Go and see for yourself!

Cornerstone Crossroads Academy recently awarded The Vanguard Award to the Cool Schools and SDGI teams for our ongoing partnership that includes campus improvements and elevating students towards green careers and building connections to the environment. Our students in the Dallas Doing Good fellowship program have been on the move, keeping up with the good work going on here in South Dallas! They recently interviewed the team over at Ruthie's Fueled by Good at their new location, a permanent cafe on MLK that supports St. Philip's School and Community Center. The Fellows also spent some time developing their skills in a photography ??workshop on campus at CCA.

The Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) Site Team spent three days on-site at our campus last week, and they completed a six-month review of everything we do. It was a thorough review, but before they left, they shared that they are recommending full accreditation with no conditions! We’re so thankful for this opportunity to submit to an external review process to ensure we are effectively serving our students and their families. We are also excited to use the Site Team’s feedback to grow stronger over the next five years!
