On Monday June 9, 2025, we invite you to stand alongside the Chinese community and be inspired, refreshed, and encouraged for the road ahead at our annual dinner, Standing Together 攜手同行. Over the last 26 years, CBCAC has fought alongside the Chinese immigrant community for equitable resources, language access, and representation in government through civic education and organizing in Chicago. In every step of this work with you, we honor and live out the legacy of those who came before us, the first Chinese immigrants in the 1800s who built America, Wong Kim Ark, who made Birthright Citizenship a reality, and many more. This fight builds on the progress so many before us have given their lives to better the lives for so many immigrants. In recent weeks, we have seen these progress being torn down one by one. Despite all of this, we stand firm in the legacy of generations of Chinese Americans and are committed to weather this storm in unity. Our fight will not stop until we are all free.
