Getting into the community and seeing the result of the investment is the absolute best part of this work. Working with my team at LISC NY to invest more in 2025 and see the impact of those investments first hand. Ready to dig in!
LISC NY hosted a walking tour on December 19th?of properties currently under renovation by?CB-Emmanuel Realty, LLC. LISC financed the substantial rehabilitation of the four-building 110 Lenox Avenue Cluster with a $8.367MM construction loan in participation with Nonprofit Finance Fund in December 2023. The tour included board and staff members of LISC NY partner?Mizuho Americas LLC?as well as representation from LISC NY partner?Carver Federal Savings Bank. The tour provided an in-depth look at the conditions and progress made on the cluster since closing on financing just one year ago. The buildings were owned by the City of New York prior to construction loan closing and will be converted to limited equity cooperative homeownership upon completion. We ended the tour at Settepani Bakery & Restaurant for refreshments in the company of another community partner. ? Special thanks to Lesley Palmer, Managing Director, Community Relations and CRA Officer of Mizuho Americas LLC; Lloyd Doaman Executive Director, Carver Community Development Corp, Carver Federal Savings Bank and Leah Abrahams of Settepani Bakery & Restaurant.
