In celebration of International Women’s Day this weekend, we hosted The Brilliant Breakfast ‘Change a Girl’s Life’ for The King's Trust in our London office, 1 London Wall to raise awareness and fundraise for this fantastic campaign. The morning began with a wonderful networking breakfast, followed by a panel discussion hosted by Cazenove Capital's Portfolio Director Emily Petersen, who welcomed Annoushka Ducas MBE, founder of The Brilliant Breakfast and Asia Mason, a King’s Trust Young Ambassador. Annoushka spoke about her passion for empowering females and why she formed The Brilliant Breakfast, which is a dedicated campaign to raising funds and empowering women through education, training, and confidence-building. She went on to talk about her career from suddenly having to take over her mother’s business selling fish to London restaurants to launching the jewellery brand Links of London and most recently launching the high-end jewellery designer Annoushka. We also heard from Asia who spoke about the importance of empowering young women from across the UK and the impact the initiative has made to her life and her journey to becoming a mid-wife.

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Oliver Gregson as CEO, Wealth Management at Schroders plc, subject to regulatory approval. He will be joining at the start of June, and replacing Mary-Anne Daly, current CEO, Wealth Management, who will be stepping back from her full-time responsibilities at the end of June to make time for other interests. She will continue as a Strategic Adviser to Schroders' Wealth business. Oliver will join the Group Executive Committee and report to Richard Oldfield, Group Chief Executive. He will assume responsibility for Cazenove Capital, Benchmark Capital and Schroders Personal Wealth in the UK. He will also be responsible for Schroders’ Wealth business internationally.
